Enrollment for the 2010/2011 school year is currently underway. School starts the week of August 30th. Specializing in small groups I'm proud to offer your child a new theme each week to encourage their creativity. In combination with my customized program I'm proud to offer the award winning Get Set For School™ program by Handwriting Without Tears®. This program has won two of the most prestigious national education awards - The Children's Curriculum Winner from the Association of Educational Publishers and The Teacher's Choice Award. You'll be amazed at how much your child will enjoy the activities and you'll be impressed by the progress they make. Your child will enjoy not only a literature rich environment in my certified Eco-friendly preschool, as a class we will focus on health and fitness with daily kitchen lessons and daily physical fitness activities. It is my belief that healthy children = happy children who are eager to greet new challenges in their daily learning environment.
My program is child-friendly with developmentally appropriate materials and activities. Children play, build, sing, color and learn while developing important skills for kindergarten:
• Language Proficiency • Color and Shape Awareness
• Social Skills • Letter and Number Recognition
• Fine and Gross Motor Control • Counting
Some other fun great things we do:
We go on two field trips each year to encourage parent participation (one in the Fall and one in the Spring).
We participate in several charity events each year so the children can learn at an early age how important it is to give back to others. A few of the events we've done most recentlyt; Toy and food drive for the Surprise Fire Department (all donations went to families right here in our community). Canned food drive for the food bank. Hand-prints for Soldiers and Candy for Soldiers.
