Nest News ~ April 2010
What a fun month April will be! We have Easter coming up and will have fun with our annual Easter Egg Hunt and our Spring Family Field Trip to Disney On Ice! We will continue to watch our garden grow and hope by the end of the month we will start harvesting a few of our veggies & strawberries. We can't wait to make salsa and cucumber salad but that will most likely have to wait until May.Our live caterpillars should arrive by April 5th and we are going to have a great time watching them develop into beautiful butterflies.
Please be sure to take a look at our monthly calendar and make a note of all important dates. Each child will need to bring 6 plastic eggs for our Egg Hunt. Please fill the eggs with stickers, mini-bubbles, balls, etc. No Candy Please! We will bake carrot cake muffins as a class project so no other treats need to be sent from home.
A special thank you to all of my currently enrolled families for spreading the news about our preschool. Our enrollment is officially full (with a waiting list) for the 2010/2011 school year. I'm looking forward to another great year!
